Fly Lansing Viewport
The Fly Lansing Viewport, our public viewing area, is the ideal place to watch aircrafts take off and land at the Capital Region International Airport. Located east of the main terminal building, the space provides spectacular views of the runway, and is the perfect family-friendly spot to enjoy a picnic, or simply spend some time relaxing outdoors. Basic Rules & Information
- No entrance fee, open to the public
- Picnic tables and garbage receptacles available
- Open dawn to dusk, every day (weather permitting)
- No alcoholic beverages allowed
- No restroom facilities or shelter available within the Fly Lansing Viewport. Please plan accordingly.
Directions
- Turn right onto Port Lansing Road, just after the railroad tracks.
- Continue on Port Lansing Road until you reach Caravan Drive - will be on the left.
- Fly Lansing Viewport is located on Caravan Drive, directly off Port Lansing Road.
- Turn west onto Port Lansing Road.
- Continue on Port Lansing Road until you reach Caravan Drive - will be on the right.
- Fly Lansing Viewport is located on Caravan Drive, directly off Port Lansing Road.
