LANSING, Mich.— The Capital Region International Airport (LAN) today announced that Breeze Airways, the premium leisure carrier offering affordable nonstop service across the U.S., has officially extended its schedule through 2025, including the return of its seasonal nonstop flights from LAN to Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers, Florida. The twice-weekly nonstop service with Breeze from LAN to Fort Myers began in October 2024 and goes on a seasonal hiatus starting April 27, 2025.

Beginning Oct. 3, 2025, Breeze will once again offer convenient and affordable travel from Lansing to Fort Myers. Nonstop flights from LAN to Fort Myers are available for booking through Jan. 5, 2026.

The seasonal nonstop service will operate twice per week on Fridays and Mondays when it returns in October, providing passengers with an easy and efficient way to enjoy the beautiful beaches and attractions of Fort Myers and the surrounding area, or an easy way for customers to travel to-and-from Florida’s western coast.

Breeze also offers twice-weekly nonstop service from LAN to Orlando International Airport (MCO) year-round. Service to Orlando also began in October 2024 and will continue to be offered year-round. Currently, nonstop flights from LAN to MCO operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays and are available for booking through Jan. 3, 2026.

“We are thrilled to officially continue our nonstop seasonal service to Fort Myers this October with Breeze Airways,” said Nicole Noll-Williams, president and CEO of the Capital Region Airport Authority (CRAA). “The ability to travel nonstop from Lansing to some of the most popular destinations in Florida enhances our connectivity and provides more convenient travel options for the entire mid-Michigan region. We look forward to continuing our strong partnership with Breeze and working together to bring more options to Lansing.”

The return of Breeze Airways’ nonstop flights comes as part of the airline’s continued efforts to expand its seasonal offerings and make air travel more accessible for communities across the country. Tickets are available for booking on Breeze’s website at www.flybreeze.com or through the Breeze Airways app. Coupled with an elevated experience featuring premium seating options and high-speed WiFi on its fleet of brand-new Airbus A220-300 aircraft, Breeze is defining what it means to be “Seriously Nice.” Breeze offers both bundled and a la carte options so travelers can customize an experience that fits their needs, and Breeze’s fare bundles feature full flexibility, no change or cancellations fees, up to 24-months of reusable flight credit and free family seating, with other add-ons such as bags, seats and in-flight WiFi.
