A full-service travel center has opened at the Capital Region International Airport, located in the main terminal.  The Fly Lansing Concierge Travel Center will allow all travel agencies and independent travel agents the opportunity to offer a variety of travel and concierge services currently not offered at the airport, including the ability to book airline tickets, car rentals, hotel rooms, cruise vacations and tours.

Liz Andrews, a mid-Michigan travel consultant, is opening Fly Lansing Concierge Travel Center.  Local agents will staff the center during regular 9-5 business hours and by appointment.  Future concierge services to be offered include: foreign currency exchange, dry cleaning, limo services to and from the airport, airport valet parking and the sale of luggage and travel accessories.

“This new travel center is a great benefit to our flying customers as well as travel agencies,” said Nicole Noll-Williams, Director of Regional Market Development for the Capital Region Airport Authority.  “The travel center offers the perfect location within the airport for agencies and independent agents to fulfill the many travel needs of our Mid-Michigan passengers.”

"This is a fantastic opportunity for us to grow the Apple Vacations product line in the Mid-Michigan area," said Lynda Kroll, Apple Vacations Agency Sales Manager.  “With the continued support of local travel agents the Travel Center will provide the opportunity to promote our international services to all the customers flying from the Lansing Airport.”  Apple Vacations is the world’s largest vacation company to Mexico and the first company to offer international flights from the Lansing airport since the U.S. Customs Inspection Station opened in late May, 2009.

The Fly Lansing Concierge Travel Center has adequate desks, phones, and computers to accommodate working travel agents, along with a WI-FI lounge, and a variety of printed travel information available for passengers.  Travel agencies, independent agents and travelers can contact the Fly Lansing Concierge Travel Center directly by calling (517) 321-4688
