September 6, 2017 – The Capital Region Airport Authority (CRAA) hereby invites from persons, firms, or corporations, who meet the qualifications hereinafter set forth, sealed bids to provide Deicing Fluid for use at Capital Region International Airport, Lansing, Michigan.  For the information of prospective bidders and their convenience in the submission of a bid, the following documents, which constitute the bid Package, are being furnished to each bidder and are attached hereto:
September 6, 2017 – The Capital Region Airport Authority (CRAA) hereby invites from persons, firms, or corporations, who meet the qualifications hereinafter set forth, sealed bids to provide Broom Core Refills for use at Capital Region International Airport, Lansing, Michigan.  For the information of prospective bidders and their convenience in the submission of a bid, the following documents, which constitute the bid Package, are being furnished to each bidder and are attached hereto:
June 13, 2017 – LANSING – Lansing’s Capital Region International Airport will conduct a training and mock disaster exercise on Monday and Tuesday, June 12 and 13, 2017. Airport public safety personnel will work with numerous area medical response teams, fire departments and law enforcement agencies in order to test communications and emergency response.
 
May 25, 2017 – LANSING – Apple Vacations has announced that it is adding Jamaica to its lineup of direct flights to tropical vacation destinations from Capital Region International Airport (LAN) for the 2017-18 season, while continuing service to Cancun, Mexico, and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Between Dec. 23, 2017, and April 5, 2018, Apple will offer a total of 78 nonstop flights to Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Cancun and Punta Cana.
May 2, 2017 – Sealed proposals will be received by QoE Consulting, PLC, 4100 Capital City Blvd., Floor 2, Lansing, MI 48906, attention Clint Nemeth, on behalf of the CAPITAL REGION AIRPORT AUTHORITY, until 11:00 am local time on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the office of QoE Consulting for the following work: Rehabilitate hangar taxilanes 3 & 5, and perimeter road, replace drainage pipe for the t-hangar area at Mason Jewett Field.
November 10, 2016 – LANSING - The Capital Region Airport Authority (CRAA) announced today that it has named Wayne G. Sieloff, a longtime leader with the Wayne County Airport Authority, its new chief executive officer. Sieloff, who will begin his new position on Dec. 5, succeeds Robert F. Selig, who retired in August after 14 years at the helm of CRAA.
September 22, 2016 – LANSING – Ride-sharing service Lyft has expanded its local operations to include picking up and dropping off passengers at Capital Region International Airport (LAN). San Francisco-based Lyft, which entered the Greater Lansing market on Aug. 11, becomes the first ride-share service authorized to operate at the airport.
September 20, 2016 – LANSING - Veteran law enforcement officer Eric Patrick has been promoted to chief of public safety for the Capital Region Airport Authority. Patrick has nearly 30 years of law enforcement experience, including serving as a public safety officer at Capital Region International Airport since 1997, with duties that included law enforcement, emergency medical services and aircraft rescue firefighting. In his new position, he will oversee the nine-person force responsible for police and fire operations at the Lansing airport.
September 20, 2016 – ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­LANSING - Capital Region International Airport announced today that the U.S. Transportation Security Administration is accepting appointments for a Pre✓® program enrollment event that it will hold Oct. 3-7 at the Lansing airport.
September 20, 2016 – LANSING – Apple Vacations is offering its most extensive flight schedule ever from Capital Region International Airport (LAN) to warm-weather international destinations this winter, with a total of 90 departures scheduled for Cancun and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The tour operator will offer nonstop flights six days a week aboard 180-seat Miami Air International Boeing 737-800 jets beginning Dec. 26 and ending April 17.
